Situated on the Southwest bank of Loch Ness, Aldourie Castle dates back to 1625.
We were tasked by Beaver Bridges to come up with a sensitive solution to cater for large loads for a footbridge across the burn that travels between the castle and the gardens into Loch Ness and also piles for a new kitchen extension to service the Hotel Guests and a garden Retaining wall.

All piles were pre-augered to mitigate vibration and then driven to a pre-determined design set.

20 No 339mm diameter CHS steel piles installed to 9 metres – Bridge Foundations

30 No 244mm diameter CHS steel piles installed to 7 metres – Bastien Wall & Kitchen Extension

30 No 178mm diameter CHS steel piles installed to 6 metres – Serpentine Garden Wall.

All works completed to programme.
