Bored Piling
UKPS are bored piling contractors operating in the Midlands and throughout the UK.
Bored piles are a commonly used form of foundation that provides support by transferring their load to layers of soil or rock that have sufficient bearing capacity and suitable settlement characteristics.
Bored piling removes the spoil to form a hole in which reinforced cast in-situ concrete is placed and is virtually vibrationless system.
Temporary or permanent casings and linerscan also be used to stabilisethe bore through granular, overburden or collapsable material before the cohesive or stable bearing strata is reached.
Diameters range from 150mm to 750mm.
Rigs range from 1 tonne to 25 Tonnes.
